2026 Presidents Cup: Day 1 Matchups and Tee Times
Captains Brandt Snedeker and Geoff Ogilvy have revealed the pairings for the first day of the 2026 Presidents Cup. Play begins Thursday, September 24, with five team matches at Medinah No. 3 in Chicago.
Thursday's opening matches will be contested in the four-ball format. In this format, all four players play their own ball, and the lowest score on each team per hole counts.
Captains select their pairings independently. On Thursday, 10 players from each team will compete, with two players per team resting.
The first day's action will be broadcast on Golf Channel from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET, with a live simulcast available on GC Mobile.
