Ferrari Prepares for United States Grand Prix in Austin
Formula 1 heads to the Americas for the United States Grand Prix at Austin, Texas's Circuit of The Americas. Scuderia Ferrari HP, following two recent podiums with Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc, will feature a special livery designed with HP. This livery will be revealed today.
The Circuit of The Americas, established in 2012, offers drivers a challenging layout with varied corners and significant elevation changes across its 5.513-kilometer length and 20 turns. A notable feature is the steep ascent to Turn 1, a left-hand hairpin that often creates overtaking opportunities, especially early in the race. The track's first sector demands quick direction changes, while the long straight before Turn 12 is another key passing zone. The final part of the lap requires a well-balanced car for precise cornering and strong traction out of slower turns. High temperatures in Texas can impact tyre performance and car balance, while track bumps add complexity to car setup.
Fred Vasseur stated, "After two encouraging weekends in Asia, in which we scored solid points, we now begin the American leg of the season in Austin. The Circuit of the Americas is one of the most challenging track on the calendar, combining very different types of corners. We have been working hard to build on the progress shown in recent races and our aim this weekend is to put together another solid performance across all areas of the team. We are looking forward to racing in front of the enthusiastic American fans and to getting the most out of the SF-26."

Stefano Luparia - New Car Concept Specialist on the Special Livery:
Developing the special livery for Austin presented creative and technical challenges. The concept needed adaptation to the car's complex surfaces and aerodynamic needs. Innovative printing technologies, new to this application, were integrated in collaboration with HP. Luparia coordinated and validated all technical aspects to ensure performance objectives and correct implementation.
Luparia emphasized the importance of a partner like HP: "Having a world-class partner such as HP alongside us is extremely important. The most significant breakthroughs happen when different areas of expertise and perspectives come together to tackle a common challenge. This collaboration enables us to experiment with new technologies and develop increasingly advanced, high-performance solutions."
Luparia joined Scuderia Ferrari in 2015 through a university thesis internship. He has held roles in Chassis Design before his current position in New Car Concept Design. He expressed pride in contributing to car performance and styling, finding it exciting to see digital ideas evolve into track-ready concepts.
