The Ultimate Fighter Returns: Team Cormier vs. Team Bisping
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) is back for an electrifying new season, pitting two legendary UFC Hall of Famers against each other as coaches. Former two-division champion Daniel Cormier will face off against ex-middleweight king Michael Bisping in what promises to be an intense rivalry.
This highly anticipated series will debut exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Latin America, and Australia. Its premiere is set for Sunday, June 14, coinciding with UFC Freedom 250, after which new episodes from the 12-episode season will be released every Tuesday.
Officially titled "The Ultimate Fighter: Team Cormier vs. Team Bisping," this season will showcase 16 up-and-coming fighters: eight male bantamweights (135 lbs) and eight female strawweights (115 lbs), all vying for a coveted UFC contract and the chance to fulfill their fighting dreams.
Produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television, this legendary reality show has historically been a gateway for new fans to the UFC and a launching pad for many future champions and stars. Notable alumni include Kamaru Usman, Tony Ferguson, T.J. Dillashaw, Rose Namajunas, Nate Diaz, Michael Chiesa, Kelvin Gastelum, Forrest Griffin, Rashad Evans, Uriah Hall, and even Conor McGregor, who previously coached on TUF 22 and TUF 31.
Daniel Cormier, one of only four fighters to simultaneously hold two UFC titles, returns for his third coaching stint on TUF, having first appeared in Season 27. He aims to leverage his vast experience and championship-winning skills, honed through victories against fighters like Stipe Miocic, Anderson Silva, and Alexander Gustafsson, to lead his team to victory and decisively defeat Bisping in the coaching rivalry.
Michael Bisping, a Season 3 winner of The Ultimate Fighter, makes his third appearance as a coach on the very show that propelled him to UFC champion status and the Hall of Fame. After his coaching debut in Season 14, Bisping is now eager to instill his renowned grit and high fight IQ, attributes that secured him significant wins over Anderson Silva, Luke Rockhold, and Dan Henderson. His goal is to outmaneuver Cormier as a coach and guide his team to overall triumph.
Fans can also catch up on previous seasons of The Ultimate Fighter, which will become available on Paramount+ starting in late May.
