Ovechkin: "Not yet. We're going to make a decision in the summer. I have to talk to my family, with Ted (Leonsis), with KP, Mike, and we have to make a decision in the summer."

He further explained to the reporters in Toronto, "It's one thing if I was 35 or 25, but when you are 40, you have to think about the future."

For the Washington Capitals, the potential departure of Ovechkin would leave a significant void. This season, he has accumulated 61 points for the Capitals, with 31 goals and 30 assists.
