Chicago Blackhawks: The Blackhawks are dealing with injuries to forward Andrew Mangiapane and defenseman Louis Crevier, both sustained on Thursday. Both players missed the previous night's game and are expected to sit out Sunday's contest as well.

Colorado Avalanche: Positive news emerged from the Avalanche camp as forwards Ross Colton, Gabe Landeskog, Artturi Lehkonen, and Logan O’Connor were all seen on the ice. Coach Jared Bednar indicated that one player might return as early as Sunday, with a possibility of all four rejoining the team at some point during their upcoming road trip.
