Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold has voiced his strong disapproval of fellow ex-185-pound title contender, Sean Strickland.
“Sean is certainly capable and tenacious; he’s a fighter who perseveres,” Rockhold stated to Adam Zubayraev in anticipation of the UFC 328 event in Newark, New Jersey. At this event, Strickland is scheduled to challenge the reigning champion, Khamzat Chimaev, for the middleweight belt.
“Khamzat possesses significantly more talent. The key will be who can remain composed and best execute their strategy. Khamzat is diligently preparing, and I foresee a masterful performance from him. Last time, there might have been some pressure; he was aiming for the world title. Now, he can perform at his peak. I expect the absolute best from Khamzat and I’d relish seeing him defeat this American.”
“While I am American myself, I gravitate towards good individuals. Khamzat is a genuinely great person, through and through. Sean Strickland, on the other hand, is a piece of shit.”
