Oktagon 87 marked a significant return to Liberec, Czech Republic, for the promotion, with a night filled with decisive finishes. Eight out of eleven bouts concluded before the judges’ scorecards were needed. The event culminated in a historic moment as the organization crowned its first-ever female double champion.

In the highly anticipated main event, undefeated Lucia Szabová (11-0) achieved a remarkable feat by stopping Leidiane Fernandes (7-3) via strikes in the third round. This victory not only secured the vacant flyweight title for Szabová but also solidified her status as a double champion. While Fernandes came out aggressively, Szabová’s precise and effective striking proved decisive. Szabová showcased superior grappling, transitioning to mount and delivering a barrage of strikes. Following her victory, Szabová expressed her desire to face Lucie Pudilová in a long-awaited bout.

The middleweight co-main event saw Dominik Humburger (12-3) earn a unanimous decision win over Zebaztian Kadestam (15-9). Humburger, fighting in front of his hometown crowd, utilized the energy of the spectators to land the more significant strikes. Kadestam demonstrated considerable toughness, but Humburger’s power ultimately secured him the victory.

In a thrilling featherweight contest, Radek Roušal (7-2) delivered a devastating knockout victory over Samuel Bark (13-4) in the first round. Roušal’s recent improvements have been evident, positioning him as a contender in the division. Additionally, in a special STAND and BANG welterweight bout, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship star Josef Hála secured a knockout win against Tomáš Mudroch.

Other notable results included Mileide Simplicio (7-3) submitting UFC veteran Josefine Knutsson (8-2) in the first round at strawweight, and Liam Pitts (4-0) continuing his undefeated streak with a submission victory over Kacper Matyszewski in a catchweight bout.
