The Vegas Golden Knights are hosting the Minnesota Wild for Game 2 of their first-round 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs series after winning the first game. In Game 1, played in Vegas, the Golden Knights defeated the Wild 4-2. Tomas Hertl contributed a goal and an assist for Vegas, while Brett Howden scored twice in the third period. Matt Boldy scored both goals for Minnesota in the opening game.
Vegas has a 1-0 lead in the series and also swept their regular-season series against Minnesota. Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday at T-Mobile Arena in Carson, NV.
