A highly anticipated bantamweight fight in the UFC has been rescheduled.
Sources familiar with the UFC`s plans have confirmed that Ketlen Vieira will now face Macy Chiasson at UFC Vegas 107 on May 31 at the UFC APEX facility.
Vieira and Chiasson were originally scheduled to fight in February at UFC Seattle, but Chiasson had to withdraw due to an injury.
Vieira, 33 years old, is aiming to recover from a close decision defeat against Kayla Harrison at UFC 307 in October. Before that loss, the fourth-ranked bantamweight in the global MMA rankings had won three of her last four fights, including decision victories over former champions Holly Holm and Miesha Tate.
Chiasson is on a strong run, having finished her last two opponents and won three of her last four bouts. The fifth-ranked fighter in the MMA global rankings secured wins over Pannie Kianzad and former title challenger Mayra Bueno Silva in a successful 2024.
The main event of UFC Vegas 107 will be a flyweight match between Erin Blanchfield and Maycee Barber.
