The UFC 314 main card has been revised due to Geoff Neal`s injury, which led to the cancellation of his fight with Carlos Prates.
While Carlos Prates will now headline UFC Kansas City against Ian Machado Garry, UFC 314 quickly found a compelling replacement to kick off the pay-per-view event.
Dominick Reyes, a former light heavyweight title contender with two recent knockout wins, will now face Nikita Krylov in a light heavyweight bout. Both fighters are known for their finishing abilities, promising an explosive start to UFC 314.
Adding to the excitement, Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, a former Bellator champion, will make his highly anticipated UFC debut against Yair Rodriguez in a featherweight clash. Pitbull has long desired to compete in the UFC and faces a formidable opponent in Rodriguez.
Jean Silva will also get his wish to fight Bryce Mitchell in a featherweight bout expected to be action-packed both inside and outside the octagon, given the existing rivalry between them.
The co-main event will feature Michael Chandler against Paddy Pimblett in a lightweight bout. This fight represents the biggest challenge of Pimblett`s UFC career as he faces the always-exciting Chandler in his quest to climb the lightweight rankings.
Finally, Alexander Volkanovski and Diego Lopes will headline the event, competing for the vacant featherweight title after Ilia Topuria moved to the lightweight division.
