Travel Hurdles Cleared: FURIA’s molodoy Confirmed Ready for FISSURE Playground #1

Esports news

Following a period of travel uncertainty, good news has arrived regarding FURIA Esports` CS2 roster ahead of the FISSURE Playground #1 tournament. The team`s sniper, Danil “molodoy” Golubenko, is now confirmed to arrive in Belgrade, Serbia, in time for the event`s commencement.

The confirmation came directly from FURIA`s Chief Executive Officer, Andre Akkari. According to Akkari, molodoy is scheduled to arrive in the Serbian capital on July 14th. This timing is particularly significant as FURIA`s opening match is set for July 15th, against SAW. This provides molodoy at least a full day to acclimatize and prepare with his teammates before stepping onto the tournament stage.

molodoy`s travel status had been a point of concern. The player had previously shared on social media that he was experiencing difficulties leaving Kazakhstan due to persistent flight cancellations, issues that also caused him to miss the team`s designated media day for the event. His confirmed arrival resolves these logistical challenges, allowing FURIA to field their intended lineup for the competition.

FISSURE Playground #1 is scheduled to take place from July 15th to July 20th, 2025. The tournament is being held on LAN in Belgrade, with the playoff stage planned for The Blue Hall, offering the experience of playing in front of a live audience. With molodoy now confirmed to be present, FURIA can focus fully on their performance in this international setting.
