PFL news

The Critical Combat organization has announced a landmark event: the first-ever mixed martial arts (MMA) title bout between two transgender athletes. The fight for the undisputed Critical Combat Femme Championship in the Super Lightweight division will take place on June 20, 2026, in Middletown, New Jersey, featuring Summer Brady and Gita Figueroa.

Summer Brady, formerly known as Sean Brady (not to be confused with the UFC fighter), holds an amateur Muay Thai record of 3-2. Gita Figueroa, on the other hand, boasts an amateur MMA record of 1-2 and has competed in numerous kickboxing and Muay Thai bouts. Notably, Brady and Figueroa previously faced each other in December under Muay Thai rules, where Gita secured a victory via unanimous decision.
