Sony has revealed substantial price increases across its PlayStation product lineup, which will become effective starting April 2nd. This change will notably push up the price of a standard PS5 console by around £90 in the UK. The company states that these price adjustments, made ‘after careful evaluation,’ are a direct response to what it terms ‘continued pressures in the global economic landscape.’
