Jannik Sinner showcased a dominant performance, claiming his second Miami Open title after defeating Czech seed No. 21 Jiri Lehecka with a decisive 6-4, 6-4 victory on Sunday. This win not only secured the tournament but also marked the completion of an unprecedented ‘Sunshine Double’ – a feat achieved without dropping a single set throughout the entire run. This makes Sinner the first male player in the tournament’s history to accomplish such a flawless double, the first to win the Miami Open since Roger Federer in 2017, and only the eighth man ever to triumph at both Indian Wells and Miami.
