Professional Fighters League (PFL) returned to Orlando, Florida with PFL 3, headlined by a compelling main event between Impa Kasanganay and Fabian Edwards.
Impa Kasanganay, a former PFL light heavyweight champion, made his comeback to the middleweight division (185 pounds). He aimed to add another title and significant earnings to his career as he faced Fabian Edwards. Edwards, a two-time Bellator title contender, was eager to make a strong impression in his debut PFL tournament.
The lightweight division also delivered excitement as former UFC fighter Marc Diakiese clashed with the reigning 2024 PFL lightweight champion, Gadzhi Rabadanov. This matchup was highly anticipated for its potential for explosive action. Rabadanov, on an impressive 10-fight winning streak, looked to maintain his momentum after his previous season victory, which culminated in a knockout win against Brent Primus in the finals.
Unfortunately, the scheduled fight between Robert Watley and Tony Caruso was cancelled shortly before the event started.
