Pavel Dailidko Dominates Miha Frlic at BRAVE CF 106, Retains Heavyweight Title

PFL news

BRAVE Combat Federation (BRAVE CF) returned to Slovenia for its seventh event in the country, hosting BRAVE CF 106 in partnership with World Freefight Challenge at the esteemed Hala Tivoli in Ljubljana on Saturday, August 6, 2026. The night was filled with high-level MMA action, highlighted by two world championship contests.

In the main event, Pavel Dailidko, the BRAVE CF Heavyweight World Champion, made a swift and decisive defense of his title against Slovenia’s own Miha Frlic. After weathering an initial offensive from Frlic, Dailidko found his rhythm. A well-placed right hand sent Frlic to the canvas, and Dailidko quickly followed up with ground and pound, forcing the referee to stop the fight just over a minute into the first round. Dailidko, nicknamed “The Experiment,” retained his championship in impressive fashion.

The co-main event saw Mohamed “L’Ambiance” Said Maalem capture the BRAVE CF Light Heavyweight World Championship, unseating Erko “The Bounty Hunter” Jun in a highly anticipated rematch. After a strong start from Jun, Said Maalem gradually took control, utilizing his wrestling to disrupt Jun’s offense. In the fourth round, Said Maalem rocked Jun and secured a TKO victory with ground and pound, earning the coveted world title.

In other notable bouts, Russia’s Marina Merchuk secured a significant upset against the favored hometown fighter Monika Kučinič in a women’s strawweight bout, winning by split decision. Lasha Abramishvili continued his undefeated streak in BRAVE CF with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Brice Picaud in a 63kg catchweight fight. The main card also featured a rematch in the welterweight division, where Amil Tutić narrowly defeated David Forster by unanimous decision.

The preliminary card kicked off the action with five exciting bouts. Domen Drnovšek earned a hard-fought unanimous decision over István Juhász. Timon Huss delivered a spectacular first-round knockout victory over Domen Vergles in a light heavyweight contest. In his promotional debut, featherweight Edin Ramdedovic submitted Sándor Polik via guillotine choke. Maja Drnovšek showcased her grappling skills with a first-round arm-triangle choke submission against Wiktoria Wojciechowska. The event opener saw Leonardo Medeot secure a unanimous decision win over Tilen Bregant in an amateur middleweight bout.
