MMA news

Paddy Pimblett, known for his post-fight weight fluctuations, has once again gained a significant amount of weight after his latest victory.

Following his win against Michael Chandler at UFC 314, where he won in the third round, Pimblett revealed to Bruce Buffer that he has gained over 40 pounds.

Pimblett mentioned that the day after the fight, he had about five milkshakes. He stated he woke up weighing around 198 pounds, considering it “fat” for him.

He clarified that he usually doesn`t reach 200 pounds unless he is in the United States, where he feels the food contributes to more weight gain. In the UK, his weight typically peaks around 195 pounds.

After his victory, Pimblett expressed his desire to fight Charles Oliveira, aiming for a lightweight title shot in 2026.

Pimblett reiterated his ambition to become a world champion and believes that facing and defeating a former champion like Charles Oliveira would be a significant step. He also confidently stated that he believes his submission skills are superior to Oliveira`s.
