Noche UFC 3 Event Moves to San Antonio, Texas

MMA news

The upcoming Noche UFC 3 fight card, originally planned for September in Guadalajara, Mexico, is being relocated. The reason for the change is that construction on the intended arena in Guadalajara will not be finished in time for the event.

With Guadalajara no longer a viable option, the UFC has adjusted plans and moved the Noche UFC event to San Antonio. The card is now scheduled to take place at the Frost Bank Center on September 13.

The confirmation of this move was made during the UFC Vegas 107 broadcast on Saturday.

Speculation regarding the potential relocation of the Noche UFC card had been circulating for several weeks. This followed previous instances where other events set for Guadalajara were also moved from their initial dates due to uncertainties about the arena`s readiness.

This official confirmation means the UFC`s third annual event coinciding with Mexican Independence Day will be hosted in Texas. The first two installments of this celebration took place in Las Vegas.

Interestingly, Noche UFC 3 was initially announced as a pay-per-view event, designated UFC 320. However, the card is now being promoted as a standard Fight Night event.

Currently, no specific bouts have been announced for this relocated card.
