Leon Edwards experienced another tough defeat at UFC London, and Belal Muhammad is keen to ensure his rival doesn`t forget it.
In the main event at the O2 Arena on Saturday, Sean Brady dominated Edwards. Brady`s wrestling and work rate were superior over three rounds. In the fourth round, Brady secured a guillotine choke, finishing the former welterweight champion.
Throughout Brady`s dominant performance, Muhammad actively tweeted, making his opinions about Edwards clear. They have a history of rivalry.
Muhammad defeated Edwards by a clear decision at UFC 304 in London in July, claiming the welterweight title. Edwards and his team had previously mentioned that the early start time negatively impacted Edwards` performance. Muhammad dismissed these excuses, joking during the Brady-Edwards fight, “What time is it in London? Asking for Leon.”
He also quipped about Edwards still being on a different schedule.
