Mike Perry claims Misfits offered him April MMA fight with Dillon Danis

MMA news

Mike Perry has stated that he might have an MMA fight scheduled soon, potentially within the next few weeks.

On The Ariel Helwani Show, Perry mentioned, “KSI is out, and Dillon Danis wants to do MMA. I agreed, but we need to see what Mams Taylor and Misfits are planning.”

He further explained that plans are shifting as Danis was originally set to box KSI. The date might have changed slightly, but it`s expected to be in the near future. Perry confirmed his willingness to fight Dillon Danis in MMA, pending a proper offer from Misfits.

Perry`s last fight was a boxing match against Jake Paul in July, and his last BKFC appearance was almost a year ago when he defeated Thiago Alves quickly at KnuckleMania 4.

Dillon Danis was supposed to box KSI at Misfits Boxing 21, but the event was postponed due to KSI`s illness. Danis is also scheduled to fight Tony Ferguson in MMA under the GFL banner on May 29 in Los Angeles, as announced on Monday.

Perry speculated, “Danis might be hesitant to risk his fight with Ferguson, and it also depends on whether BKFC is willing to take any risks.” He added, “Danis will likely try to grab my legs, and I’ll aim for a soccer kick to his face. This fight would be in April.”

Perry concluded, “I`ll just defend the takedowns. He`ll have to pull guard, and I have ground and pound skills too. Let`s make it happen.”
