Sport news

Jiri Lehecka, the 21st seed from the Czech Republic, secured his spot in the fourth round of the Miami Open by defeating American Ethan Quinn on Sunday evening. Lehecka triumphed in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6 (6), thereby bringing to a close one of the most surprising underdog journeys of the tournament.

Quinn, currently ranked 56th globally, had made a remarkable charge to the third round, achieving victories against two former Miami champions, including a notable win over Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz.
