Speaking from LAS VEGAS, UFC Hall of Fame inductee Mark Kerr shared insights into the production process of his upcoming biopic, The Smashing Machine. Kerr revealed that the team involved in bringing his life story to the screen demonstrated a remarkable level of care and “super sensitivity” regarding the adaptation.

He specifically highlighted the leadership role played by Dwayne Johnson, noting that Johnson was acutely aware of the significant highs and challenging lows the heavyweight legend experienced throughout his professional career. This awareness guided the sensitive portrayal within the film.

Kerr also reflected on his early days in the sport, referencing what he termed the “dark ages” of mixed martial arts and the UFC when he first began competing.
