Logan Paul has agreed to fight Lionel Messi`s bodyguard, but on his own terms.
Yassine Chueko recently challenged Paul to a fight in an Instagram video. The WWE star responded on his YouTube channel on Wednesday night.
“Tell him to wait his turn,” Paul stated. “He’s an MMA fighter who thinks he can box and believes he deserves attention just because he protects Messi.”
“I`ve offered to fly people out for fights before, and he doesn’t even warrant that kind of treatment.”
There`s some background tension between them, as Messi’s beverage brand Más+ has sued Paul’s drink company PRIME for “anti-competitive” behavior, leading PRIME to file a counter-lawsuit.
While the legal system will decide the outcome of that dispute, Paul mentioned that if Chueko really wants to fight, he knows where to find him – but there are conditions.
“Look, I’m in Puerto Rico, if you want to come to Puerto Rico and face me, you’re welcome to come,” Paul said. “When I defeat you, and it’s a ‘when,’ not ‘if,’ you have to drink PRIME. You must drink PRIME, bro.”
“I’d genuinely feel sorry for Messi because he’s likely going to lose this lawsuit, and probably lose his bodyguard too, because why would you employ a bodyguard who gets beaten up by a YouTuber? The guy is losing everything – except for the World Cup. Respect.”
