KSI Announces Postponement of Dillon Danis Fight, Danis Reacts

MMA news

KSI and Dillon Danis have both responded to the news that their Misfits Boxing 21 event has been postponed.

The organizers announced that KSI is sick, so the whole event, planned for March 29th in Manchester, England, is moved to a later date, probably next week. This is the second time this fight has been planned, and it’s not certain if it will happen again.

KSI released a video on social media to explain why the fight was postponed.

KSI said, “I really tried, but my body just gave out. I’m in bed, taking medicine, trying to get better, but it’s hard. I’m coughing up green and yellow stuff… I tried to spar and train, but I feel weak. My energy is completely gone.”

Danis, unsurprisingly, showed no sympathy for his opponent.

KSI and Danis both fought last October at The Prime Card event and both lost.

At the end of his statement, KSI said he hopes the fight can be rescheduled so he can still beat Danis in the ring as he promised.

KSI added, “I want to move the fight to another day because I still want to knock out Dillon Danis. I trained too hard for it to be for nothing.”
