Kennedy Nzechukwu has withdrawn from his scheduled fight against Martin Buday this weekend.
Nzechukwu was set to compete against Buday this Saturday on the main card of UFC Vegas 105. However, on Thursday, the UFC announced Nzechukwu`s removal from the event. Martin Buday will now face Uran Satybaldiev, who is undefeated, in a heavyweight contest. The reason for Nzechukwu`s withdrawal has not been disclosed.
Uran Satybaldiev is the current light heavyweight champion of LFA. In 2024, he secured an interim title by defeating Bruno Assis via TKO in the fourth round. Just last month, he won the undisputed title by submitting Leon Soares with a kimura in the third round, bringing his professional record to 9-0.
Martin Buday entered the UFC in 2021 after competing on the Contender Series and has achieved a successful run, holding a record of 5-1 within the promotion. In his most recent fight at UFC 303, Buday won by split decision against former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski, in what turned out to be Arlovski`s final UFC appearance.
