Jon Jones New Co-Owner of Dirty Boxing Promotion

Jon Jones is teaming up with Mike Perry.

Dirty Boxing Championship announced on Friday that the UFC heavyweight champion and former light heavyweight star has become a co-owner of the combat sports organization. The news was initially reported by TMZ.

“I was immediately impressed from the first event,” Jones stated in the announcement. “I believe this will become a major force in combat sports. I am honored to be associated with it.”

This move also strengthens Jones’ collaboration with managers Malki and Abe Kawa, who, along with Perry, established Dirty Boxing in 2024. Dirty Boxing rules involve fighters using five-ounce gloves, with elbows and limited ground-and-pound allowed.

Dirty Boxing is holding its next event on Saturday, featuring a main event between former UFC middleweight title challenger Yoel Romero and Ras Hylton in a heavyweight match. Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will compete in the co-main event against Terrance Hodges.

Jones is expected to attend Saturday’s event in Miami.

Jones’ UFC career is currently paused as fans await his decision on a fight with interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall. Jones has downplayed Aspinall’s significance as a contender on several occasions, preferring a fight with Alex Pereira, who recently lost his light heavyweight title to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313.
