Fifth-seeded American Jessica Pegula advanced to the fourth round of the Miami Open after a dominant 6-2, 6-2 victory over Canadian Leylah Fernandez (26th seed) on Sunday evening. Following her commanding performance, Pegula expressed confidence in her current form, stating, “I think I’m playing some of the best tennis I’ve played.” She further noted, “I thought I played really good. I executed everything that I wanted to do out there and just stayed super focused.”
