Jean Silva Chokes Out Fan at Brazilian Event

MMA news

Jean Silva is known for his impressive finishing abilities in mixed martial arts.

Earlier this year at UFC 314, Silva secured his fifth finish in five promotional fights by submitting Bryce Mitchell with a ninja choke. This marked his first submission victory in the UFC. Recently, the fighter nicknamed `Lord` added another chokehold to his list, this time rendering a fan unconscious during an event in Brazil.

Attending a Muay Thai event over the weekend, the number 11-ranked UFC featherweight interacted with attendees. Reportedly, one fan asked Silva to demonstrate a chokehold. Taking the request seriously, Silva applied a rear-naked choke, maintaining the hold until the fan lost consciousness, despite the fan reportedly tapping.

Once the fan became unconscious, Silva released the hold. The fan quickly recovered, appearing momentarily disoriented before smiling, laughing, and hugging the fighter. A friend of Silva`s reportedly made a humorous remark to the fan about the incident, and they shared a laugh before Silva continued meeting other fans.
