A women`s flyweight fight has been added to the UFC`s upcoming event in Atlanta.
Sources familiar with the plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Jamey-Lyn Horth will compete against Tereza Bleda at UFC Atlanta. The event is scheduled for June 14th at State Farm Arena.
For Horth, this will be her fifth appearance in the octagon. Her UFC record has been inconsistent, with wins and losses alternating. In her last fight, the 35-year-old lost to Miranda Maverick by unanimous decision at UFC Tampa in December. However, the former LFA flyweight champion has secured UFC victories against Hailey Cowan and Ivana Petrovic.
Bleda will be aiming to build on her momentum after achieving her first UFC win in her most recent fight, where she defeated Gabriella Fernandes by unanimous decision. The 23-year-old is returning to action nearly two years after that win, as she had to withdraw from a planned fight against Casey O`Neill at UFC 305 last August.
