Jake Paul Threatens Legal Action Over Fight Fixing Lies

MMA news

Jake Paul has declared he has reached his limit with ongoing accusations and falsehoods regarding his boxing career.

Following what the original text describes as a decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., media personality Piers Morgan criticized Paul`s performance, labelling it an “unwatchable farce” and “staged”. Morgan also referenced his own media platform where he had recently engaged with Paul.

This prompted Nakisa Bidarian, co-promoter for Paul`s Most Valuable Promotions, to issue a response to Morgan. Bidarian stated that the company is exploring all available options, including potential legal action against Morgan or anyone else who accuses Paul of fixing his fights. Paul subsequently reinforced this warning.

Paul stated: “After years of letting it slide as just `haters being haters,` I have instructed my team to aggressively pursue legal action against anyone spreading falsehoods about my boxing career. Expect to be served, you pigs.”

Since entering the sport, Paul has been a frequent target of claims that his bouts are either fixed or staged. These accusations were particularly prominent following his brutal knockout victory over former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in their second fight in December 2021, and again after his decision win over former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson in November.

Across his last eight professional boxing matches, Paul has secured seven wins, including notable victories against former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva, along with past UFC competitors Nate Diaz and Mike Perry.
