Boxer Jake Paul has proposed to his girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, a Dutch speed skater.
Paul announced their engagement on Saturday via social media, posting a photo of himself proposing on one knee with the caption: “Engaged to my baby best friend.”
Paul, 28, and Leerdam, 26, have been in a relationship since 2023. They are often seen supporting each other at their respective events. Paul is known for his boxing career, and Leerdam is an accomplished speed skater.
While Paul has gained popularity and success in boxing, particularly after his recent high-viewership fight with Mike Tyson streamed on Netflix, Leerdam boasts even greater achievements in her sport. She won a silver medal in the 1000m speed skating event at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.
Paul (with a boxing record of 11 wins and 1 loss) has not yet announced his next boxing match, but he has publicly challenged major figures in the sport, including Canelo Alvarez and Anthony Joshua.
