Nineteen-year-old boxer Isis Sio has made a remarkable recovery, returning home to her family after being in a medically induced coma. Sio had been hospitalized since March 22nd, following a brutal knockout loss to Jocelyn Camarillo during her fourth professional boxing match.
Her family expressed profound gratitude for the outpouring of global support. “We are deeply thankful for the overwhelming love, prayers, and support that have come from the boxing community, friends, fans, and people around the world,” they shared with TMZ. They emphasized the significance of these well wishes, stating, “The prayers lifted up during this time have meant everything to Isis and her family. God is great, and we truly believe He heard every single prayer that was said for her.”
At the time of the incident, Sio held a professional record of one win and two losses.
