Colby Covington interrupted Paddy Pimblett`s post-fight interview at UFC 314, stealing the spotlight after Pimblett`s victory.
Following his significant win against Michael Chandler in the co-main event at Miami, Pimblett was unexpectedly confronted by Covington backstage.
Covington began to verbally attack Pimblett, questioning the caliber of fighters Pimblett has faced in the UFC.
In the exchange, Covington belittled Pimblett`s opponents, calling them “scrubs” with poor records and labeled Pimblett a “fraud”.
Pimblett retorted by bringing up Covington`s recent losses, highlighting his “three-fight losing streak.”
While Covington`s actual losing streak is two fights, he has won only once in his last four fights since March 2022.
Currently, Pimblett is aiming for the lightweight championship and has called out top contenders like Dustin Poirier, Justin Gaethje, and Charles Oliveira after defeating Chandler.
