Grindhouse MMA Stars Ready for Art of War Cage Fighting 46 Showdown

PFL news

Art of War Cage Fighting (AOW) is set to kick off its 2026 campaign on March 28th with AOW 46: Turnbull vs. Ryan Yapsam. The event will take place at the Valley Forge, PA Casino. AOW President Mike Bickings and his team have planned a busy year, scheduling six events for the calendar year.

Grindhouse MMA and Fitness has cultivated a strong reputation through all its programs, especially its formidable fight team. Former AOW featherweight champion, Shawn Stefanelli, has been instrumental in coaching the gym’s aspiring fighters, and three of his proteges are slated to enter the cage this Saturday evening.

Anthony Corsino

Anthony Corsino (2-1) is making his much-anticipated return to competition after a two-year hiatus. He candidly admits that life and work had temporarily sidetracked his fighting career, but the persistent urge to compete, coupled with the motivation of seeing his teammates in camp, provided the crucial push he needed to secure a new matchup. Corsino, 34, will face Sean Casey, a 20-year-old holding an 0-2 record. Despite Casey’s early losses, he has shown notable composure against tough prospects. Corsino, while preparing for his own bout, has also been actively engaged in helping his teammates get ready.

Dan Stewart

Dan Stewart has been preparing diligently for his professional debut. Having trained for several years, he now feels the time is right to step into the spotlight. Stewart has made a significant commitment to his diet and gym schedule, aiming to maintain his youthful appearance even in the cage. He credits Shawn Stefanelli for instilling a relentless, “grinding” work ethic and fighting style. Stewart is set to face Shaker Ali-Saleh, an opponent who previously took a top contender, Justus Cheatum, the full distance, losing only by judges’ scorecards. This bout is shaping up to be a legitimate contender for “Fight of the Night.”

Sean Conner

Sean Conner, 27, has dedicated nearly five years to honing his craft, holding a 1-1 record from 2014, which includes a submission victory and a five-round decision loss. Conner emphasizes the strong bond he has formed with Corsino and Stewart, noting that their friendship has made his commitment to consistent gym attendance and continuous improvement much easier. He is prepared to welcome Tasheem Morris, who will be making his AOW debut. Conner’s significant experience edge will be a critical factor to observe in this matchup.

Grindhouse leader, Jerry Bradley, shared his perspective on the team:

“Watching the three of them develop such a strong bond has been truly special. That’s precisely why I do this. It’s about much more than just fighting. These men have found lifelong friends and consistently push each other to be better. It’s going to be a monumental night for them and for the entire Grindhouse team. We are eagerly awaiting it.”

The event promises a full card of interesting and entertaining fights. For those who cannot make it to Valley Forge in person, the fights will be available for purchase and streaming on the Starfund App via Pay-Per-View. Doors open at 6 PM, with the first bell scheduled for 7 PM.
