On Saturday night, in the final preliminary bout at UFC Mexico, Gautier faced Jose Medina and achieved a resounding success. Entering the UFC after a strong showing on the Contender Series, “The Silent Assassin” lived up to the hype, delivering a powerful knee that knocked Medina down and secured a first-round finish.

In the octagon, Gautier presented a formidable presence against Medina. Despite his clear physical advantages, he maintained composure and strategically sought openings for his powerful strikes. Medina struggled to find answers early on against Gautier`s calculated attacks.
Slightly over three minutes into the first round, Gautier connected with Medina, pushing him back towards the fence. Medina gestured for Gautier to engage further, but this proved to be a costly error. Gautier unleashed a flurry of punches, forcing Medina to defend, before landing a brutal knee strike to the body. The Bolivian fighter collapsed, and Gautier secured a walk-off knockout victory.
