Arvid Lindblad on the Japanese Grand Prix week:
We’ve had a fantastic start to the Japanese Grand Prix week. Our time in Tokyo included the unveiling of our special livery, inspired by the Red Bull Spring Edition can, at the Red Bull Tokyo Drift event. It was an incredibly unique experience celebrating Japanese car culture, almost like being in a movie. Being a passenger during the drifting was exhilarating – the speeds and tight corners were surprisingly more daunting than I anticipated, despite my profession. This event also highlighted VCARB’s commitment to creativity, as we collaborated with a shodo calligraphy artist on the livery. I genuinely think this is one of our coolest designs yet, especially the chrome red, and I’m eager to showcase it on track soon.
After two very different races in Australia and China, which were entirely new to me, I’m bringing valuable lessons and areas for improvement to Suzuka this week. I’m really looking forward to my first race at this iconic circuit. Its fast and flowing nature demands bravery in certain sections, which is precisely the kind of pure racing experience we all cherish.
