A massive showdown is confirmed for KSW 105 as former World`s Strongest Men Eddie Hall and Mariusz Pudzianowski prepare to clash.
At the official weigh-ins held Friday morning in Gliwice, Poland, both super heavyweights hit significant numbers. Eddie Hall registered 334 pounds on the scale, while Mariusz Pudzianowski came in at 267 pounds, with their combined weight exceeding 600 pounds.
Pudzianowski, a five-time winner of the World`s Strongest Man competition, enters this contest looking to rebound from two consecutive knockout losses, which followed a notable five-fight winning streak. His most recent outing at KSW 83 in June saw him defeated by knockout in the second round against Artur Szpilka.
For Hall, who earned the World`s Strongest Man title in 2017, this bout marks his debut in the sport of mixed martial arts. His only prior foray into combat sports was an exhibition boxing match on March 19, 2022, which he lost.
The anticipated strongman vs. strongman fight between Pudzianowski and Hall is scheduled for two four-minute rounds and is set to take place on Saturday afternoon.
In the main event of KSW 105, Adrian Bartosinski will defend his KSW welterweight championship title against challenger Andrzej Grzebyk. Bartosinski is coming off his first professional career defeat, which occurred against Mamed Khalidov at KSW 100 last November.
