DeMoor Defends Misfits Title, Finishes Tolman After Early Scare

Chase DeMoor successfully defended his Misfits heavyweight championship against Tanner Tolman at Misfits Boxing 21 in Derby, England. While DeMoor secured a knockout victory, the fight was challenging and required him to overcome significant adversity.

Entering the bout as a heavy betting favorite against Tolman, who was making his Misfits debut, DeMoor unexpectedly found himself in trouble early in the second round. Tolman landed a clean right hand that sent DeMoor to the canvas, marking the first knockdown of his career.

DeMoor managed to beat the referee`s count and spent the following moments recovering. Tolman attempted to capitalize on the momentum, but his aggression ultimately backfired. DeMoor was able to retaliate later in the round, scoring a knockdown of his own against Tolman.

Tolman survived the second round, but the momentum had clearly shifted. Despite coming out aggressively in the third round, Tolman was quickly overwhelmed. DeMoor landed a powerful series of right hands, finishing the fight decisively just over a minute into the round via knockout.
