Corey Jackson Secures Vicious Knockout of Marcellus Wallace at Dirty Boxing 1

MMA news

Corey Jackson achieved the first knockout of the Dirty Boxing 1 event.

Jackson faced Marcellus Wallace in a lightweight preliminary match at a recent fight night held at The Hangar at Regatta Harbour in Miami.

Towards the end of the first round, Wallace attempted a Superman punch, but missed his target. Jackson capitalized on this opening and unleashed a powerful right hand, rendering Wallace unconscious on the canvas. The referee was initially slow to react, allowing Jackson to follow up with a strike reminiscent of Dan Henderson before the fight was officially stopped.

Jackson, a veteran of Bellator and PFL, now boasts a 2-0 record in Dirty Boxing competitions. He previously competed in an exclusive VIP event, the initial launch of Mike Perry’s new promotion in November, where he secured a second-round knockout against Chris Burton. Jackson is also a former NFC featherweight MMA champion.
