The 33-year-old Italian player, who reached the Wimbledon quarter-finals in 2018, initially retired from tennis last year without a public announcement.

During her tennis career, Giorgi also worked as a lingerie model.

Shortly after retiring from tennis, she seemingly disappeared, amid allegations of unpaid rent for a villa near Florence for up to six months.

There were also allegations of tax evasion, which she denied.

Giorgi is now living in Argentina and surprised fans in February by working as a reporter at an ATP 250 tournament in Buenos Aires.

She was seen interviewing players and providing studio analysis.

However, despite her brief return to tennis, Giorgi is now returning to her “modeling career,” according to Marca.

Since her TV appearance, the former world No. 26 has returned to glamorous photoshoots.

She recently posed in a bikini for PQ Swim and wore a figure-hugging black dress for the newspaper La Nation.

Giorgi has also hinted at a new project related to sports.

She posted a workout video on Instagram with the caption: “A sneak peek of what I`ll be showing soon: More sports with me. My lifelong passion.”
