Michael Bisping remains active in the fight world, but don`t expect him to fight in the cage again in the near future.
This clarification is needed on April Fool’s Day, as Bisping’s former organization, Cage Warriors, jokingly announced that the former middleweight champion was ending his retirement to challenge middleweight champion Dario Bellandi.
Naturally, this announcement was just an April Fool`s prank, a typical occurrence in sports news, and combat sports are no exception. Several fighters participated in the fun, with boxing star Tyson Fury declaring he was taking over the James Bond role from Daniel Craig, and Ben Askren also announcing a comeback—to collegiate wrestling at age 40 to compete for the University of Iowa.
