Asadula Imangazaliev Knocks Out Legendary Nong-O in Bangkok

PFL news

Bangkok, Thailand – ONE Championship concluded its thrilling weekend event at Lumpinee Stadium with an electrifying card: ONE Friday Fights 147, headlined by Nong-O vs. Imangazaliev.

In the evening’s main event, Russian rising star Asadula Imangazaliev delivered a spectacular performance against the iconic former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion, Nong-O Hama.

Despite failing his pre-fight hydration tests, which made him ineligible to compete for the divisional title, the surging Dagestani fighter still entered the ring. Imangazaliev’s presence alone made a powerful statement at the expense of a true Muay Thai legend.

From the opening bell, Imangazaliev showcased an unpredictable arsenal of techniques, including a sharp axe kick that visibly impacted Nong-O. His constant changes in stance effectively disrupted the Thai legend’s rhythm throughout the first round.

As the second round began, the Russian dynamo intensified his aggression, preventing Nong-O from closing the distance or mounting any significant offense. Imangazaliev capitalized on this dominance, landing a devastating left hook directly to Nong-O’s chin, securing a knockout victory at just 0:44 into the round.

Following his impressive win, Imangazaliev wasted no time in challenging Rodtang “The Iron Man” Jitmuangnon, the former divisional king, for a ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title bout.
