Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski is transitioning to the world of bare-knuckle boxing.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) recently announced that Arlovski will make his promotional debut on June 21. He is scheduled to face Geronimo dos Santos at BKFC 76, which is set to take place in Fort Worth, Texas.
The 46-year-old Arlovski boasts a decorated career in mixed martial arts, including holding the UFC interim and later undisputed heavyweight titles in 2005. After an initial departure from the UFC in 2008, he returned six years later and concluded his extensive MMA run with the organization in 2024 following a four-fight losing streak. Known widely as “The Pitbull,” Arlovski recently entered the `Dirty Boxing` scene earlier this year, securing a second-round TKO victory over Terrance Hodges in March.
His opponent, Geronimo dos Santos, is also a seasoned MMA veteran with a record of 45-26-1. Dos Santos made his BKFC debut earlier this year in April, achieving a notable stoppage victory over Aleksei Oleinik at BKFC 41.
